What is Cycle Breakers? Cycle Breakers is a program for women over the age of 18, designed to support, educate and create awareness around social problems and teach them skills to affect change in the community. Our mission is twofold, to break the cycle that abuse has over their own lives and to equip them to actively affect change in the lives of others in cycles of abuse. Established: March 2006
Who are we? Cycle Breakers falls under a NGO, called Mount Hope Projects, which in turn falls under the auspices of the Mount Hope Worship Centre. Although it falls indirectly under the banner of a church, it is solely a social program that will cater to any person from any background, religion, creed or colour. Any spiritual intervention would be done solely on the request of a participant and would take place after sessions.
The working committee: Claudine Cooper, Joy Smith, and Faldielah Jacobs

2007: Personal Growth (Ongoing) This program is specifically aimed at women who have never dealt with past issues, but that are caught in the ripple effect thereof. In this program that runs over a year, we assist participants to confront those issues in a constructive manner, but with lots of support. After this whole process, we gently start re-building and encourage new growth process internally.
